Business Continuity

All businesses should have a contingency plan for challenging times. CG has in place a comprehensive and detailed business continuity strategy to safeguard the interests of our customers in the event of an emergency or significant business disruption. Our plan is specifically designed to meet our obligations to customers in the event of a disaster.

We continue to invest a significant amount of time and money to ensure that customers can continue to be serviced even under very challenging circumstances. CG’s Business Continuity program is reviewed and audited by an independent consulting firm that has over 25 years of experience in the business continuity and disaster recovery industry. This ensures that our preparations are kept current, that they are executable, and that they remain in line with industry best practices.

Your interests are safeguarded when it really matters

CG invests in the positioning of information technology assets in specially designed disaster recovery bunker facilities. These safeguards provide the flexibility to support our critical communications, applications, data, and remote access services should a disaster affect production data center operations.

Our solutions range from a portable office environment in the Caribbean which uses innovative technology to provide a cool, well-lit and powered facility with state-of-the-art wireless technology, to a dedicated recovery center in Bermuda which is a fully equipped back-up office environment. Backup media and data files are held off site in secure, environmentally controlled environments to ensure the timely recovery of mission critical information in the event of a disaster.

The calm after the storm

No one can stop hurricane damage, but with the investments we continue to make in business continuity and disaster recovery solutions, we are confident that problems can be resolved quickly once a storm has passed. Our confidence comes not only from having plans in place which are tested on a regular basis, but also from our experience managing over $300 million in storm claims since 2000.
